The Company


Our client is a market leading European distributor of industrial maintenance and engineering products to manufacturing.

They are specialists in sourcing and supplying the engineering products that manufacturing facilities need to run, reducing their costs by improving production efficiency and reducing their total cost of component acquisition.


The Role


As the Regional Key Account Manager you will work closely with your local Sales Branch to drive the overall business development, growth and account management of your locally defined customer base.


Your customer base is highly diverse, covering manufacturing facilities from virtually every industry sector.


The real key to this role is in gaining a clear understanding of your customers business to allow you to provide a genuine value added proposition, ensuring your customer can realise demonstrable cost savings from;

  • Improvements in production efficiency
  • Reduction of downtime
  • Energy saving solutions
  • Improving their planned and preventative maintenance


You:

  • A dynamic, energetic and engaging character with outstanding communication skills.
  • Able to demonstrate success securing both incremental growth through account management and establishing new business.
  • Ideally experience from the MRO to manufacturing sector
OR 
  • A proven sales track record from an FMCG / Packaging / industrial / capital equipment or a similar sector.
  • Mechanical Engineering aptitude desirable.
  • Professional integrity, structured, consistent and a genuine team player.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ethos for continuous improvement.
